Along the way, I’ve discovered a passion for capturing those moments through photography, drone footage, and storytelling. For me, it’s not just about documenting the adventure—it’s about sharing the feeling, the atmosphere, and the little details that make each experience unforgettable. Mariah's Days is more than just a blog; it's a testament to resilience and the pursuit of passion. Born amidst the uncertainties of the pandemic, Mariah's journey began as a coping mechanism, a creative outlet amidst the chaos of COVID-19.Before the world was engulfed by the pandemic, Mariah was poised to embark on a different path entirely. With dreams of Law School at the University of Denver and a prestigious internship at Harvard on the horizon, her future seemed set. Yet fate had other plans. Rejection from a national board left Mariah reeling, pushing her to reassess her trajectory. Graduating from Sonoma State University remotely in May 2020, she found herself adrift, her plans shattered and her network scattered .In the face of uncertainty, Mariah turned to Instagram, transforming her page into Mariahs.days, a sanctuary of reels, nature, and travel photography. It became her lifeline, a beacon of positivity amidst the turmoil. Embracing the wanderlust within her, Mariah embarked on a summer of exploration, chasing waterfalls and traversing open roads. Opportunity knocked in the form of a legal assistant position at the Colorado State Capitol, prompting Mariah's move to Denver in January 2021. Although her path diverged from the traditional JD route, her passion for environmental policy remained steadfast. Internships at prestigious institutions beckoned, but Mariah chose a different path, opting for Ball Corporation, where her love for travel blossomed. As her career flourished, so did her adventures. From business trips to cross-country excursions, Mariah's nomadic spirit found solace in the embrace of nature. With her two feline companions, Millie and Mo, by her side, she ventured to Seattle in pursuit of new horizons, leaving behind Ball Corporation for a role at Boeing.Through it all, Mariah's Days remains a testament to the power of resilience and the pursuit of dreams. Her blog serves not only as a chronicle of her travels but as a beacon of inspiration for those navigating their own paths. Single and unapologetically chasing her dreams, Mariah's journey is a reminder that the road less traveled often leads to the most breathtaking destinations.
